is an accounting firm dedicated to the individual and to small business owners. We aren’t going to try and dazzle you with brilliance or baffle you with bull. We will give you honest feedback, reporting, and guidance based on the information you provide and our current understanding of your goals and objectives. Since tax is quickly becoming a small business owners’ major overhead expense, we prepare most of our reports on a tax basis by an Enrolled Agent. What is an Enrolled Agent? It is a federal certification governed by the IRS that allows me to represent tax clients up through the highest levels of the tax court. EAs are fast becoming the preferred professionals by IRS agents because we make tax our focus.

Trudy fell in love with accounting in high school when she took bookkeeping and computer, software classes. She worked full-time during the day and earned her bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University at night. Later she found the tax professional status of Enrolled Agent and determined that was the next learning objective. Experience is very important as a tax professional, but it is is also imperative to keep current on the constantly changing tax laws. Through continuing education, professional forums, and publications, she fills her need for constant learning. She also loves learning all the tips and tricks of the QuickBooks Accounting software and keeps her ProAdvisor status current each year. She’s a bit of a workaholic but loves it when she can find tax solutions or resolutions for her clients. When she’s not working, her passion is her family. She has been married to her best friend since 1995 and together they have three beautiful and amazing children. She also enjoys and supports various community and charitable organizations. She enjoys most musical genres, reading historical fiction, children, musical theater, and puzzles for relaxation.

Jennifer Freda
Jennifer is a ProAdvisor and is QuickBooks certified. She has over 19 years of experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Human Resources. She’s lived in Arizona her whole life. Jennifer started working here in July 2017 as a Full Charge Bookkeeper after having worked with Trudy for 2 years in a previous job.

Luke Hetzel
Luke is a college sophomore student attending Estrella Mountain Community College, focusing on Engineering studies. He has been working with his mother since June of 2019 and has taken on the role of Office Administrator for Total Accounting for Small Businesses. He hopes that the work he does here will help him learn how to maintain financial stability as he goes on to University studies and beyond. In his spare time, Luke likes to work out, hang out with his friends, and play games either online or in person.
